What is wrong?” asked a worried Amanda.
“They wanted me to take off my jacket!” I exclaimed.
“Wait, is that wrong?” asked Haley.
“Seriously! how can you even ask me that, it has everything wrong in it!” I realized it later that I was losing my temper and raising my voice. I quickly sat down and kept quiet.
“Kyle!” she said in a fearful voice,
“You are not glowing anymore!” finished Amanda.
I quickly looked at my body and I couldn't feel the glow anymore it was gone. I suddenly felt cold, empty, alone… The feelings just churned up and twisted with one another. I knew for a fact that something was wrong the glow was not just gone, it was hiding itself, it was hiding me from something I had not seen yet. Haley held my hand and she felt it was freezing. I quickly nodded, telling her that Amanda did not know that I was inhuman.
“Amanda could you get us some water?” Haley asked.
Amanda quickly got up and took off as if sensing some tension.
