Fallen Love

"I was hoping we could get past yesterday's unpleasant events and flip over a new page." that I did not understand either, I mean I knew the unpleasant events but as for flipping over a new page, that I did not comprehend. I nodded as if I understood even though I was blank. 


"So we are cool?" she asked me and again I did not understand the meaning of cool or how it was involved in the matter we were discussing. 


"It's boiling out here and you don't feel hot?" 


"Again, no." I responded matter-of-factly. I was not in the mood to entertain her considering she was the rude one. 


"If I am right you don't take off your gloves," said Michelle "why?" 


"Just, my mum told me not to remove them." I lied
