Jordans memories were still foggy about everything if he was to be frantically honest.
He remembered being thrown like a rag doll across the forest and not healing immediately.
He remembered Briar.... Bleeding...
He remembered him crawling from the open to find somewhere he could die in peace.
And he remembered the darkness....
Until he woke up again.
On a bed, under a tent with bandages around his lower torso, hands, forehead and eye, everything aching around him.
He never really got the chance to even leave the tent and find out where he was, but he saw the shadows of people moving back and forth and someone always came into the tent to leave food for him.
And that happened for at least a week until the female that always came with the food said that their Alpha would be arriving shortly.
