*****Ishita POV*****

As I was getting bored, I wanted to call Aurushi (manaasi friend). First I hesitated to call her what she will think about me. But what to do I have no friends in this city as I am new here.

I dialled her number, she didn’t lift the call. I felt bad and switched on the TV. After some time, I got a call back from aarushi.

She apologized to me as she was treating patients. Then I realised, doctor profession is always a tough job.

“ Are you not feeling well?” she asked me worriedly.

“Yeah…” I replied as I was feeling bore.

She started asking me so many questions like headache, stomach ache, etc…

I laughed with her queries. She is exactly asking as my family doctor.

“Why are you laughing?” she asked with irritation.

“ I was feeling bored, so I called you” I answered.

“ Okay, if you don’t mind. will you join me in an NGO organisation as our team is going for free health check-ups for orphans,” she asked me.

Aarushi is a sweet and kind person. Nowadays, who will do social service being in doctor profession, I thought.

“Are you coming with me?” she asked again.

“sure but I don’t know routes in this city” I replied.

She told me that she will come to the home to pick me up. She said me to got ready at evening 4'0’ clock.

*****aarushi POV*****

As I was busy examining OP patients, I kept my mobile in silent mode. After some time, I checked my mobile, there were few missed calls. I was surprised to see Ishita name call in the list. Immediately, I made a call to know whether she is ill. Instead, she said she was feeling bore and wanted to meet me. Due to my profession, I am always busy and I had a visit to examine orphan children for NGO this evening. I asked whether she will come along with me. I felt happy as she wants to come with me. I informed them to get ready in the evening.

In the evening I picked from her mansion as she was new to this city. Finally, we reached the orphanage. Even though, she is new to our team. She helped by interacting with children in a friendly manner so that they come to us for a general check-up without fear and hesitation. I felt glad about her kind behaviour and simple attitude, even though she is one of the top custom designers. We completed our work by 8 pm. As I was starving, I asked ishita to have dinner. She agreed with me and we together went to a restaurant to have dinner.

We ordered our food and was waiting for the food to arrive. Accidentally, we saw Rithwik was having his dinner and talking with some lady. She was nearly 40 to 45 years old. But he didn’t notice us.

I informed Rithwik Ishita by showing my finger towards the direction. Ishita said she might be a business client and she doesn’t want to disturb him.

I nodded my head as approval. But from their gesture, I sense that she was more close to Rithwik. As they completed dinner, Rithwik left that place. Still, we were doing our dinner. After few minutes, I ignored my thoughts as I was thinking unnecessarily.

We completed our dinner and started in my car to drop her at her home. When I was leaving, she compelled me to come inside the house.

God only knows, how I was feeling in my heart. How difficult for me to enter inside. My legs were shivering to enter inside. All my sweet memories with aunty, manaasi and Rithwik were running in my mind. I could not tell anyone nor I could stay calm with these haunting memories.

I slowly took my steps towards the hall. Ishita informed me that she would be back within few minutes. I was sitting on the sofa and observing the surroundings. I noticed the wedding of Ishita and Rithwik photo hanging on the wall. They were looking like a wonderful couple.

As I was in my thoughts, I heard a car sound from outside. I know that horn is from Rithwik’s car and turned my head to him. On seeing me in his mansion, he stopped in his track. There were no words between us.

“ How are you?” I asked him.

“ you?” he asked me.

“ Fine?” I answered him.

“ what are you doing here?” he asked me which made me shocked.

I felt very bad about his question. How would he ask that question? Now, I have become a person who could not come to his mansion.

“ Sorry, I don’t know my presence will disturb you” I took my handbag from the sofa.

“ Don’t worry about me, I never become an obstacle between you and your wife” I added.

“ I always want you and your family happiness” saying those words, I quickly ran from that place wiping my tears.

I started my car…..

******Rithwik POV******

I got down from the car and noticed some other car was parking in front of our mansion. When I entered inside the hall. I saw aarushi standing and looking at our marriage photo.

I could understand how difficult to digest the truth that her loved ones belong to some other person.

On noticing my presence, she asked me how I am. My intention was not to hurt her but my question made her cry. The way she left from here made my heartbreak.

One wrong decision in my life made hell for two women. I don’t know what punishment God might give me but every day I could not able to see my face in the mirror.

I came out from my chain of thoughts…..

“ Where is aarushi?” Ishita asked me.

“I don’t know…” I replied.

“ okay I will call her,” Ishita said.
