Lets play a game

She stood there in a corner when a bright glow of light almost blinded her even though she was wearing a blind. The light made the blindfold transparent allowing her to see little details.

She quietly observed the room when her eyes landed on a man which seemed similar to Lei. Due to the blindfold, she was unable to confirm her theory.

After a few minutes of standing there, a man snapped his fingers. Zhao ai followed as best as she could what the other maids were doing. They placed the trays that they were holding on a table in the middle of the room.

As she placed her tray a man grabbed her arm making her freeze. Zhao ai stayed in that position until the man smirked and let her go.

Zhao ai and the rest of the maids went back to their designated corners. For a good amount of time, the men were talking about everything and nothing when one man looked around the room.

"Take off your blindfolds," said the man. Zhao ai looked at the other maids which were hesitant at the order.

One girl stepped forward.

"Master," she started. "Forgive us but we are not allowed to take off our blindfolds," she said looking in the direction of the man that had spoken.

The man stood up and walked towards the girl. His hands traced her blindfold and made their way to the back of her head untying it.

The black fabric hit the ground making the man smirk. He looked at the girl who stood there which her eyes tightly closed.

The first rule for this party was to never let anyone see your eyes and to never look at someone else's eyes.

"Come on open them," whispered the man in the girl's ear. The girl stood quiet not opening her eyes. Even though she had always wanted to see what the room looked like she couldn't dare to. Her life was on the line.

There were many myths among the maids that this party was made to celebrate vampires and spirits from the underworld. Some even said that it was made by the emperor of the underworld himself.

"How about we make a deal," said the man as she walked away from her. His words made the other men in the room look at him with a slight smile everyone except one.

"Now this is getting interesting," said another man.

"Nathaniel," said another voice pointing to the man that was standing up." Careful of what you wish for," added another man. The man had the same cold voice with a hint of amusement as Lei.

"Anyway, like I was saying," continued Nathaniel. "Let's play a game. Oh and don't worry you don't need your eyes,"

The girl looked up towards the voice once again. "What are we playing," she asked.

"Easy, Sandra" responded Nathaniel." I will have a bag with a certain amount of beads and all you have to do is guess how many beads I have. We'll take turns."

"What happens if lose?" asked Sandra.

"Everyone here has to open their eyes and If I lose you get to leave without having to worry about ever having to be here again," he answered.
