ACCIDENT OR PLOT?

Theodora watched Zerith speaking to the man a few feet away from her. She couldn't make out anything from their conversation, but the way Zerith's face was morphed in conflict, she understood that there was some problem.

After five minutes of sharing confused glances with Bertha, she saw Zerith walking toward them with a deep frown on his face.

"Zerith what happned?" She asked sincerely.

"We have a problem. Someone has set a farmer's granarie on fire. You know we have limited number of farmers with limited land. And the loss he has suffered is going to cost us as now we will need to buy the grain from mainland." He explained.

"Who can do such a thing? Aren't people scared of their sins these days?" Bertha shook her head disapprovingly.

But Theodora's mind ran in another way.
