Sophia Garcia

water.. water.. a soft voice woke up Ayrton, who was asleep on the sofa. he ran to her " here, slowly" he passed her a glass of water and helped her drink. " how are you now? " he asked putting the glass back on the table and switched on the lights.

" how are you, mister? " asked Milish now wide awake. she was looking at him with wide eyes.

" huh? you don't know me? " he asked back, staring at her little face which was looking at him innocently. he called the doctors immediately to check what was wrong with her.

" she is not recognizing me " he informed the doctors.

" well, child how are you feeling now? "

" I feel weak" replied Milish looking around. " okay, any other discomfort? " . " yes I feel pain, here " she replied pointing at her head.

" it's okay, you will be fine . Now, do you know him asked the doctor pointing at Ayrton.

" no, he is not telling me" informed Milish as a matter of fact. " can you tell me your name? " asked the doctor testing the water. " name? " I can't remember " replied Milish.

" well, your name is mili.." he couldn't complete his sentence because Ayrton interfered.

" Sophia".

everyone looked at him. " your name is Sophia Garcia, my finance " he informed her and everybody present in the ward. everyone was as shocked as Milish Or rather Sophia now.

" S. O. P. H. I. A. " she spelled every letter with amusement. " I like my name! " she smiled sweetly.

" tell me more " she asked looking at Ayrton.

" okay, but you have to rest first " he informed her and helped her lay down in the bed, then he turned to the doctor.

" well, Mi.. I mean Sophia how long do you remember? " asked the doctor.

"doctor, I don't remember any thing, it feels like I was just born and the next day I am here, in the hospital". the doctor nodded and continued.

" let's discuss outside, let her rest here Mr. Davis "

" so, what is this doctor Smith? " asked Ayrton.

" look, Mr. Davis she lost a lot of blood and suffered a very hard blow on her head, here " he said pointing at his own head. " so, I already warned you that she might suffer from memory loss" .

" For how long doctor? " asked Ayrton impatiently. he was happy that she didn't remember Cristian anymore but he was sad of her forgetting him as well.

" there is two types of memory loss Mr. Davis, " permanent and temporary. Temporary memory loss can last to some months or day and permanent memory loss can last from years to forever. " And this seems like a permanent one! remember not to trigger her Mr. Davis or it can be dangerous for her". he patted Ayrton on the shoulder and went away.
