The Five Souls

Five sacred objects in four different places were located in a remote village - a hamlet - called Pon: a pair of ancient banyan trees, a wooden stump on the bank of a river, a stone monument at a crossroads, and a village gate built of red brick. They were the keys to the guardians of the world and the supernatural activities that keep the world alive. They must be maintained. These five sacred things were called Pancajiwa, the Five Souls, the five souls of the village.



But now, there were people who wanted to destroy Pancajiwa to release sorcery, witchcraft, and angry spirits and all kinds of supernatural beings for their own evil interests.
