Chapter 25

Zander's POV:

When I saw Ali fall I was heartbroken and speechless because I knew something was up with her but she refused telling me

I didn't want to pressure her into it that was why I let it slide

Immediately I shouted Ali's name Jay turned and started running towards her snapping me out of my thoughts

Jay screamed "call 911...please someone call 911...I can't loose her now please...please I'm begging"he sat down beside her and sobbed not caring about any thing

I was shocked to say or maybe I was in a trance,I was so broken on the inside that this could be the end of our journey that my wife is finally gone

I didnt know when I started crying but I felt tears slide down my face

All I could hear were the sirens of the ambulance...the took Ali in and drove off still being in my trance I stood and watched them drive away

Someone touched me on my shoulder making me break out of my trance

I turned and saw it was ma'am and she looked very sad as well then she said "it's okay my child let's go to the hospital"

I couldn't say anything....I just nodded and made my way towards the car

When I got there I saw Jay sobbing his life out including Maddie

Maddie was screaming "let me get to my sissy....leave me alone"she was crying too and it was a heart breaking scene

Daisy was also crying and mason was trying to comfort her

I just sat there on the floor with no one to comfort me the only comfort I had is almost gone and it made me feel really bad because I would have been her source of comfort too but I brought her heartbreak in the past

Few minutes later,the doctor came out of her room making all of us sit up and look at him with hope

He just had sadness in his eyes too which broke me the more and I was waiting for the worst to come out

"Mr Miller ?"he mentioned and I went to him

"Yes that me"

He looked down before raising his head and looked at me with sympathy and that was what broke me the more

"We are so sorry....we couldn't save her...she's...she's gone"

It was like I was poured freezing water and I felt really cold

Jay was at the back trying to calm himself but he was still sobbing

Daisy was screaming "no she still had time...what the fuck....this hospital couldn't save my best friend...I hate you guys so much"she was sobbing too

Then Maddie,I can't believe she has lost the third most important person in her life at a tender age

She was a mess,her eyes red and puffy....then all of a sudden we heard ma'am scream "Maddie!maddie!!"

We turned to look at Maddie and we found out that she fainted making us more worried

The nurses said it isn't any serious issue that she would be taken care of

It's just shock and she'll be okay in 5 minutes then she was taken away

I looked at the room Ali was in and I went into it

Ali was covered in a white sheet from her head to toe

I removed the sheet and saw Ali's lifeless body...the same Ali that was full of life....the Ali that was my wife....the love of my life...the only comfort I ever had

My heart was broken to the point that it couldn't be fixed

So I held her hands and it felt so cold which brought back more tears

I didn't know what to do I wanted the pain to go away it couldn't so I did the only thing that was in my mind

I walked out of the hospital,everyone was calling my name but I didn't give two fucks I left and went to a bar

Few hours later,I got really wasted and I decided to head home

The pain increased more....I got into my car and one guy came up to me

"Yo man...you sure you're fit to drive...you look pretty wasted man"

"Fuck off...I don't give two fucks about you"

He rose his hands in defense "I'm just saying  dude"

"Keep your opinion to yourself"

With that I shut my door and started driving to my destination

Along the way,I couldn't see anymore and there was a truck coming

So I decided to stop my car and call Jay to come pick me up

But I guess as fate have it immediately he picked I got hit by the truck and everything went black finally numbing the pain

Jay's POV:

I was still sad for the loss of my sister,from mom and dad now to Ali

You could imagine the heartbreak...Maddie is having it worst because she was saying Ali promised not to leave that the same way mom and dad promised

She thinks everyone is a liar and the always break promises

She refused to eat...she just went into her room and locked the door occasionally going into Ali's room

I couldn't even eat myself....Stella tried comforting me but she couldn't succeed so she met me be to have time to digest everything

I got a call from Zander around 12pm and immediately I picked up I heard a crash which made me have goosebumps meaning Zander was in trouble

I tried locating him through his phone after 5 minutes I finally got him

He was just 10 minutes away from home so I quickly got my jacket when I was about leaving the house Ma'am and Stella decided to question me

"Where are you going"

"I'm going to meet Zander"

"Why what's wrong"Stella said with curiosity and ma'am looked worried

"I don't really know what happened...he called me then I picked up and heard a crash after that I got this weird feeling in me that something was wrong so I tracked him and his location"

"Alright...take care Jay please be safe...I love you"

"I love you too"

With that I ran out in hopes nothing was wrong with him too there's already too much trouble I don't want to be more worried

I got there and the scene in-front of  was nerve wrecking

I saw the paramedics carrying two people on two stretchers with a white sheet over their heads and I prayed Zander wasn't one of them but since I committed a crime in my past life I think the decided to revenge on me in this life but taking my loved ones away

The police officer at the scene wanted seeing the body and immediately the opened them the air that was in my got knocked out by some force

I ran over to the bodies "what the hell man...i told you not to leave the hospital or do anything stupid now look at you...your gone"I cried because he was family to me too

"Sorry but you need to step away from the body"

"What happened please"

"The truck driver was on a high speed and his break failed him so the two of them crashed and your brother over there was highly intoxicated with alcohol thankfully a passer by called the police and here we are"

My world crashed...I just lost two people again that are married seems like it's a curse to get married into my family

With that I held his hand which felt cold and left with the aim of fixing everything and making everyone feel happy especially Maddie she was also close to Zander

So hey guys...🙂🙂 that's probably the end of comfort I hope you guys loved it as much as I did and don't worry I'll edit it again

I'm not really perfect and I have noticed some errors in my writing so I'll correct them
