LAB TWO:

Via's point of view:

The next morning, I awoke late due to the amount of tension I had from the day before. I walked to my bathroom and began cleaning myself up before deciding to make some coffee and cook some Brunch.

I'm not sure what happened to that man from yesterday, but he suddenly kissed me and claimed that I was his lady now. I shook my head and began preparing my dinner, but as I was

placing everything on the plate, someone knocked on my door.

I wasn't expecting anyone today, so I opened and quickly closed the door.

"Hello there, Via! Open this!" It was Damian, and what the hell does he want?

"Open it up! Or I'll destroy it!" As if he can.

I opened it and looked into his eyes.

"What now?"

"Great! I'm relieved that I won't acquire any scratches on my flawless skin as a result of breaking your door."

"Gay," he chuckles.

"I know!" he said, laughing so hard.

"Via, I need your cooperation."

There are only two reasons for him to come here: either I'm sick or he wants something.

"No," I said, rolling my eyes at him, and returned to the kitchen to have my brunch.

"Please say yes, Via. You are aware that I was unable to bring Isaac, and you are aware of the cause, correct?" He followed me into the kitchen and sat alongside me, begging and trying to be charming.

"Still, no." I get up to fetch some ketchup and mustard, but he hugs me from behind. Every time I say no to him, he acts this way.

"Good Morning-" we both glance through the front door only to find the man from yesterday, who promptly leaves after placing the paper bags beside the sofa.

"Could you please enlighten me, Via, was it Pablo Santiago?" He looks surprised by what he witnessed, but I didn't bother to explain anything

"I'm not sure" He followed me and sat alongside me once more.

He covers his lips as if about to cry with joy. What happens next?

"I'm very proud of you, Via! You are now a lady!"

"Shut up!" He simply laughed at me and tried to ridicule me based on what he observed.

"Going back, please Via be my date this coming Sunday, I need to bring someone, and I'll pay for your one month's food," he said.

"Higher," I insisted.

"Breakfast, lunch, supper, and snacks for three months! Give it a name!" It's very clear that he'll do anything to get a date. Poor gay

"Deal"

"Glutton!"

"Then don't."

"Hehe, Just kidding Via, I'll pick you up at 6 p.m. sharp. Okay? I'll send the dress to you tomorrow!" And then he leaves my house as if he had forgotten something.

After he departed, I had already completed my lunch and cleaned everything up before returning to my room, but the paper bags that the man had left piqued my interest, so I picked them up and attempted to examine each one. There were a range of clothing and dresses, as well as purses and shoes.

What is the purpose of this? I dismissed the thought and moved them inside my room. I'm not going to wear those things since I'm not as materialistic as he believes. I'd rather have a delicious dinner than that insignificant stuff. What a colossal waste of money.I start tidying up my room since I still have several online meetings to attend regarding the new manuscript that I finished last night. I need my editor's permission before I can sell it on one of the online Reading Platforms.

Actually, I haven't applied to any companies since I graduated since I'd rather invest or run my own business than work for someone else. I don't know, maybe I was simply born to be alone since I can't imagine being around a lot of people and trying to interact with them, and Damian is well aware of this. You can count the persons I know on your fingers, including Damian and my Editor, and some are from my former client.

Damian is one of the closest friends that I have. Eight years ago, I went to a party with my Editor, Damian was so inebriated that he couldn't walk straight. I helped him out and decided to bring him home since I didn't know else to take him, and that's when our relationship began. But I didn't know he was gay at the time, but it didn't take long for him to confess. Of course, it wasn't an issue for me, but his family was against it, and that's when he started acting up in front of his parents, saying that I was his date every time he needed to go to a party. He never tell his family that I was his girlfriend because I told him I didn't want people to have an incorrect impression of us.

PABLO'S POV:

I got up early today to pick up the items that I ordered from a well-known boutique. I purchased clothing, dresses, purses, and shoes for her as a way of expressing my appreciation for what she sacrificed yesterday.

When I eventually arrived at her house, it was noon. I got out of my car and proceeded to get the paper bags; when I got to the door, I didn't bother knocking because it was slightly open.

And I don't like what I'm witnessing right now. A man is hugging her from behind, and he appears to be damn happy. I Could murder him right now, but I'm not going to spend my time on him. They both noticed me, but I rushed out of the house and get into my car.

"Mr. Pablo, this is your meeting for-" I glance at my secretary, who is suddenly terrified. I can't blame her because as of this moment I'm really not in the mood to talk to anyone

"Cancel all my meetings today and Get Out!" She almost drops her belongings on her way out.

I am aware of my arrogance, but no one can blame me; I feel deceived, and God knows how much I despise it.

"You seem enraged, and I get a feeling you could murder anyone right now." I didn't even bother to look since I knew who it was from his voice.

"Dos, what are you doing here?" He is a good mate of mine who is well-versed in many aspects of my life.

"I was just traveling through and I thought I arrived at the proper moment, so what happened?"

"I'm feeling deceived."

"And by whom?" I have a serious expression on my face as I stare at him.

"By a lady," and this cretin laughs so hard.I

didn't bother to cut him off since I'm so irritated right now.

"oh! And who is the unfortunate one?"

"Via Samaniego, the one who saved me from yesterday" He took two glasses of brandy and offered one to me.

"And how did she betray you if she risked her own life to save your ass?" Before I face him, I sip the brandy straight.

"I saw her with a man hugging her from behind." I looked at him as he was ready to bust out laughing.

"Wait, you're jealous and feeling betrayed at the same time without confirming anything?"

"Yes," I said as I walked over to my minibar and poured another shot of brandy.

"Pablo, you fell from a woman you just met; sure, she saved you, but for you to fall so easily, I think it's too much to accept." He has a point, but there's something in her that I can't put my finger on.

"She doesn't care about money, Dos."

"I understand it," he said, not arguing more because he already knew the reason.
