Glimwillow Woods

Pov Vex:

I was on my way out of Jamanakai Village with the pushcart, I was heading southeast as I was instructed to by Ava the butcher. Glimwillow Woods, we're only 1 mile away from the village so it didn't take me too long to get there, only about 30 minutes later I arrived. The woods were dark and creepy, but the foliage wasn't too dense, so I was able too to bring the pushcart into the woods.

'I need to drop this cart somewhere and find a place for a trap' I think as I drop the cart, I could see pretty far around me because the foliage wasn't dense, I will have enough time to know I'm being attacked, I started climbing a tree and started scouting around for a bear by jumping from tree to tree Naturo style. I soon found one, I didn't take too long, Ava did say this Forest was covered with highly aggressive bears. I'm still on top of a tree and am looking at a bear eating at the corpse of another bear.

They both had black fur, the one eating was slightly bigger than the one being eaten, It had a scar on its left eye and looked to be older than the one being eaten, but what surprised me the most was the absolute size of this thing, I looked to be the size of a Kodiak Bear, which for males could get to the size of 1500 pounds. 'Omg I underestimated the size of these bears, I thought it was going to just be a small black bear, and this one has a lot more experience than the average bear, to be able to survive out here with all these bears for years, you'll truly need some skill, this is going to be harder than I thought, luckily I don't plan on actually fighting the thing if you get pierced through the brain you're dead.'

I position myself on a branch above the bear, he still hasn't noticed me but that won't be for long as my smell will surely make its way to his nose, I quickly lock my hands together and turn them into ink I start to turn my hands into a thin spike and harden it, I jump off the branch, put the spike handle under my feet and aim for the bears head. When the spike came into contact with the bear's head, I kick off the handle as hard as I possibly can, *Shuck* *ROOOOOAAAAAARRRRR*. The bear roared as the spike rammed through his skull and straight through to the bottom of his mouth.

He was still alive!!! he somehow was able to survive a spike through his skull, I was on the back of the bear, with my hands severed from my body, in that stunt when I kicked down the handle it separated from my arm, I did that to get more force at the spike. I quickly connected back with my ink and moved it to go to the beast's throat, I commanded it to expand. While that was happening the beast was feverishly shaking his body to get me off of him, there were no more roars as his air pipe was closed by my ink.

To make sure I didn't fall off I made some spikes on the side of my feet and jammed them into the side of the bear's neck. The shaking of the bear got fiercer than before but with my spikes in his neck, I was able to hold on. In a last-ditch effort, the bear decided to roll over, and the weight of the bear came on my right foot *CRACK* My leg was getting smashed like a pancake, and the searing pain in my leg was almost distracting me from finishing off the bear, I expanded the ink in his neck one last time, *BOOM*

His neck exploded from all the pressure that was cumulating in its neck, it was before the bear could fully roll over on his back so the rest of my body was spared from the crushing weight of the bear, after the bear died I moved all the ink I had to my crushed leg to try and turn it into ink, I was successful but not without the loss of a lot of my blood. I recollected all my body parts back to normal, I felt woozy from all the blood I lost, during the process of killing to bear I somehow managed to destroy some of my ink, I don't know how but I did, so I needed to sacrifice something and chose the fasted reproductive source my blood.

Vex - "Huh Huh Huh Huh, I ca-can't stay he-here long, the blood wi-will attract another of those monsters sooner or later, I need to get the ca-cart" I was breathing heavily while I was talking, I got up and ran to the cart when I got there I took it and brought it to the carcass of the bear I just killed, luckily their we're no bears eating my spoils of war, I quickly make my hand into a machete with ink and started hacking at the bear's stomach, I needed to get as much meat from this thing as possible.

10 minutes later... 'ok I'm going to cut my losses and get out of here' looking at the cart I got about 100 pounds of bear meat, I took the handles in my hands and started sprinting to the outside of the forest, I soon did get out without any troubles, it was weird that I didn't get into any more trouble' I thought as I started heading towards Jamanakai Village...

Pov???:

'That pesky little human if he comes back I'll kill him myself, doesn't he know about the rules that I have laid out, you are not supposed to attack when the other party is eating from a fight that they just won! I would go out and kill him right now, but that old monster laying in that village will come over here and put me back in my place if I even step a foot out of these woods, Let's just hope he gets greedy and comes back, then I'll kill him.

Pov Vex:

I'm on my way to Jamanakai Village and I'm stopped by a guy with a bionic eye and left arm, his teeth haven't been cleaned and we're yellow, he had this grin on his face that was full of confidence. 'Ugg I know this guy from the show, people call him the mechanic, great he's probably going to try and steal my bear meat. This trip just is becoming worse and worse, it wasn't worth it anymore, but no way am I not cashing in on my hard work, but I can't kill this guy he's plot-relevant later, ugh what a drag'.

(The Mechanic)

The Mechanic - "Hehehe, it seems you have something of value for me, I thank you for your patronage, now hand over the bear meat" he said as he pulled out a knife. 'Does this guy think he can take on a guy who just took out a 1,500-pound bear' I drop the cart and walk away from it like I am giving him my spoils, he gets excited and runs over to my cart completely ignoring me, he goes to inspect my goods and I stand right behind him and gave him a sharp chop to his neck *chop* he falls unconscious. I drag him out of the way and make my way to Jamanakai Village.
