Truly A Depressing World

Pov Vex:

Razar - "Ok well just go in and out, 3, 2, 1, go" They sneaked into the room to only see me already up and staring at them.

Vex - "Well hello there, I heard that you wanted to steal me and sell me back to the lions, are you sure you want to do that?" I question.

Razar - "Oh hi my friend, it seems you've heard our little conversation, I'll tell you what, if you give me something of value we won't capture you, Deal my friend?"

Vex - "How about this, you leave and I won't tell the lions about this!" I threaten.

Razar - "Why would we care if you told the lions if we just capture you right now" He threatens back.

Vex - "Are you stupid? If you try and sell me to the lions then they will know you captured me from their base." He looked dumbfounded at my facts and logic. The 3 ravens huddled up and whispered among themselves and discussed my offer.

'If these guys do take my offer I don't plan on going back on it, they seem like people who I might want resources from in the future, also showing myself as an untrustworthy person this early on in this universe will now be a good thing. From what I gathered from this realm so far, is that the tribes are the main power in this realm, and ravens being one of the tribes, I don't want bad blood between us, they also seem to be the most business-savvy, well as far as I can see.'

Razor - "Yes my friend, if you don't tell the Lions about this little visit, then we will leave right now, deal?"

Vex - "Why yes of course, and since I don't want bad blood between the first people I have met in this place, I won't go back on this deal, now you should leave". After they left I sat back on the bed and waited for one of the lions to come in, it took only a couple of seconds from when the ravens left when an old-looking lion came into my room.

Lagravis - "We'll you're a smart one, you've only been in this place for an hour, with almost no memory of your past, and you've already adapted to your surroundings, truly a smart one you are" Lagravis praises me.

Lagravis - "Now, my son brought you here, he already told me about what happened, so I won't ask, you can stay here at the Lion Temple, but I have to ask you, Are you a danger to us."

'Now how do I respond here? I could lie and say I'm not a danger but when I do eventually show I can be dangerous he will know I lied, and I don't want to go through the trouble. Or I could tell the truth and say I can be dangerous, but then I have another decision how much do I tell them?'

'I can't tell them my actual strength or they will be too cautious of me, and I can't undersell my powers too much, or when they find out about me being any stronger than I claim, then they will think I lied, I also can't refuse to tell them any power because that'll make them more suspicious!'

'It's a balancing act, if I tell too much of my power then they'll be cautious, too little then when I show more power than I claimed to have, they will think I lied to them, So how much power do I think I need for this realm, I have to decide it here not later. I'll show them a part of my full ink powers, nothing more. It might be too much but it's better than too little.' (Do you think Vex made the right choice?)

Vex - "Yes I could be of danger to you, but only if you treat me wrongly, now to show my profound interest to be your friend, not the enemy. I will tell you all of my powers" I pull up my sleeve and make my arm turn into black ink. I looked at him and he was shocked.

Vex - "I can turn my body into ink, all of it, if any ink leaves the main section of my body *Splash* it will come back" I demonstrate by cutting my ink arm off and watching it come back I then form the ink back into my arm.

Vex - "I am also able to transform my arm into anything I can think of, oh and I am also able to harden my ink to form weapons" I show him by turning my arm into a black machete.

'Now let's see if you call me a freak and ostracized me, let's hope you don't, I'm certain I will be able to learn a lot about this realm in the Lions Temple and I rather not chameleon into a lion, and sneak around the place to learn about this realm'

Lagravis - "We'll I've never have seen power like that before, and I won't lie to you its... how can I say this, Creepy? So I recommend that you don't use your power except for emergencies, or you might have one of the other tribes telling you that you're a freak" Lagravis warns me and I will not throw away the advice of someone who has lived with these other tribes way longer than me.

Vex - "Thank you for the advice... what's your name?"

Lagravis - "Lagravis," he says.

Vex - "Ok lagravis what could you tell me about the world I'm in"

Lagravis - "We'll Chima is a magical and beautiful place filled with creatures, in the sky above Chima is Mount Cavora, from Mount Cavora's waterfalls, comes, Chi water, Which we lions collect and protect. The chi water is then formed into balls of chi, which we lions distribute to all the tribes of Chima to keep the balance of Chima in order".

Vex - " If you control all of the Chi what's stopping you from just keeping it all to yourself?" I ask.

Lagravis - "We'll if the balance of Chima is ever to tip to one tribe then we will experience terrible earthquakes and other natural disasters, let me tell you a story of how Chima came into existence..."

Lagravis - "A very long time ago, animals used to walk on all fours. Then, the land was blessed with CHI, causing Mount Cavora to rise from the ground and supply liquid CHI to the land. The animals that drank it became what they are now. However, some animals did not drink the CHI and preferred to stay pure. They disappeared from the land forever, and some even doubt they exist. The story is called the Great Story" Lagravis ended the story.

Vex - "Are there any wars?" I ask while showing a contemplating expression.

Lagravis - "There aren't any at the moment, but the allure of the Chi is just too strong for some, and they try to control all of the chi which puts Chima in Danger I'm afraid peace will never last in Chima," He said slightly helplessly.

Vex - "Well isn't that depressing, a world filled with wars but never a winner as if someone did win, Chima would end, You have wars but they are useless, in the end for the sake of time you will have to keep the balance, no side can gain ground on the other or it will upset the balance of Chima. Truly a depressing world I found myself in".

Vex - "You said earlier that you protect the Chi and distribute it evenly among the tribes, a noble cause that you uphold, and one that I truly respect, but it must be done to keep the balance of this world, I will help your cause... Lagravis.

(Pov You:

Hall Monitor - "Hello welcome to high school, I know that middle school was hard but this one will be even harder.
