"shi, when will you be leaving?" yu yue asked with sourness in her tone, which is she's unaware of. 


"I will leave immediately once we reach academy city. Little tiger, do you want me to stay?" he asked teasingly noticing her sour mood. 


"heh, I'm actually happy that you're finally leaving. It costs a lot to have you around and who are you calling little tiger? I'm not an animal!" yu yue snorted at him haughtily. She was indeed sad deep inside, but who was she to admit that? She's already used to having him around sticking close to her so she didn't know what to feel now that he's leaving her side. 


"just like that, you're just like a little tiger" sheng shi jie laughed heartily as he touched her cheeks gently. He received a message from sheng ai the day before but he just told her last night because he's hesitating to leave her alone specially around this time. But the matter was urgent up their so he can't not go back as soon as possible.  


"keep your hands away from me, you hooligan" yu yue grumble after being dumbstruck. 


"aren't you even going to miss me?" he asked feeling hurt. 


"who would miss you? Just go already" yu yue rolled her eyes as she started ignoring him. 


Sheng shi jie just quietly sat beside her as they both admired the moon. 


"I have a gift for you" he suddenly took a box and handed her a white jade moon shape pendant. 


"it looks beautiful, when did you make it?" she asked blankly, she then remembered that he once asked her why she likes the moon so much and yu yue told him that whenever she's lonely the moon accompanies her, it gives her comfort and warmth. 


"just recently" he answered briefly and smiled as he personally put it on her neck. 


"I like it so much, thanks. I also prepared some stuff for you but it's nothing special" she mumbled incoherently as she took out a storage ring and directly handed it to him.


It's not as special as the white jade moon pendant, they are all rare materials, weapons, pills and other heavenly treasures from the space that could save life. 


"If you're really thankful, why not give me a kiss?" he teased slyly, making yu yue's face flush unnaturally. 


"in your dreams" she snaps as she quickly went back to her room. She couldn't bear to stay in that place anymore, she could feel her scalding cheeks and her excited heart suffocating her. She always denied this special feeling even though she knew in her heart that she has feelings for that guy. 


While yu yue was comprehending her complicated feelings, sheng shi jie stood in that same place and he happen to see hua ling and wang ling's figure flying away. 


He remembered hua ling's oddity. It was when they first meet each other in bright moon continent. Back then he didn't know why hua ling's killing intent was aimed at him and it was so strong that he can't just ignore it. 


He thought for a while and followed them. he was surprised though that it was only wang ling, he's sure also feel hua ling's familiar killing intent just now.
