Chapter 3. The escape

We hear the bombs exploding above us. Exactly 2.1 second after we feel the gravidy tug as we start rising.

Looking through the windows we can see the smoke, piles of corpses, explosions and the big battle going around us. I silently say "The world really is being destroyed... We really did it... We escaped the fear of being... crushed... Now we will just fear what nobody knows... "

Benea start sadly smilling.

„We finally know what the world looks like And It's Awfull. Thank goodness we aren't there anymore."- probably goes through everyones heads.

The ship rises above the smoke and so called clouds, that we see for the first time. I slowly walk closer to the window and look at the big bright orange and purple orbs floating somewhere far away. I remember the elders calling them planets, or maybe satelites.

Either way, they look beautiful.

We see a weird rock flying towards Adel. The captain says that it is an asteroid and judging by the speed it will hit Adel and end everything there in about a week. I shudder understanding that we could have died if we stayed there.

But then again, we were always in danger and didn't know what might happen.
