After Johan left Rodin looked at the notification sent by the system.

He couldnt help but let out a gasp and then hiss, this skill, if mastered, could make learning and planning so much more easier.

'Well, well, now that i know i can learn skills, better get started with these books and also should probably access the library, of course such a huge mansion has a library, its a must !' He couldnt help but drool at the possibilities with the system, he felt like he could achieve anything.

'Wait, does learning skills give Xp, why didnt i get it when i got [Running], hmm food for thought.' He couldnt help but question how the system operated even more, he was gonna find out eventually.

He stretched a bit and got up from his sitting position, seeing that the sun is slowly disappearing over the horizon he decided to start looking through the books and start by the easiest.

"The Spear for dummies. By Horlund Zohen." He couldnt help but chuckle at the title before opening the book and reading the introduction.

"You ever felt like the sword was just not for you, have you ever felt that it also felt that some idiot made it because they couldnt fight using technique but instead brute force, well don't worry my children, for i bring you the easiest guide into becoming the best spearman in the land."

'This guy sure is eccentric, but at least he is entertaining, wouldnt others reading this book also become the best spearman then...' He continued reading further after giving up on his latest train of thoughts.

"The spear will always have the advantage when it comes to striking first and also for striking the eyes of the ladies, and also the thieves..... worry not, if you learn how to use the spear then petty thieves wont even have the chance to spit on your feet before they get their throat pierced and balls ruptured."

He couldnt help but admire the balls the author had when writing this, if Johan saw this he would have found the author and would have most likely ruptured his balls.

"Enough of me and my love life, lets start learning, and remember, if you strike first, you strike it rich, or not, the spear is the oldest weapons in this world of ours, do you know why it is still used today, because it proved its worth among hundreds of other useless and garbage weapons, choose and become strong."

Finishing the Introduction he flipped and he got his sight on the first chapter.

Chapter: 1 First step, Stance of the Beginner.

He looked at the drawing, funnily enough the face of the person was very familiar to Rodin, but he couldnt put his finger on who, it hand long and luscious White beard flowing down the front while two fox like eyes hid behind two huge brows which looked like two dragons ready to eat up anyone.

"Enter the Beginner Stance as shown in the example down below, you can use any kind of spear with this stance, this stance is meant to teach you good habits and get rid of the bad ones when it comes to using the spear and movement."

"First of all, when holding the spear you need a firm and nimble grip, you have to be firm to not lose the spear in a battle of might and nimble to be able to maneuver well with this weapon, after feeling the handle and getting a good grip, you have to control your breathing, Slowly inhale and feel every fibre in your body, feel your lungs slowly rise, feel your muscles contract then slowly build up and when youre about to strike, exhale and strike, precisely."

He was excited, this was finally a book he didnt feel bored with, which was weird and kind of uncomfortable to think about, shaking his head he continued on.

"Of course, do not strike as of yet, you have to get enough strength to wield this weapon without hurting yourself, so here are some basic drills which help you get enough physical ability to wield a real spear without hurting yourself."

"Remember young ones, to use the spear you have to have good strength and dexterity, if you cant handle the spear with efficiency and precision, you arent worthy of holding a stick, go play world domination with those pesky mages instead."

This last paragraph did remind him of one little detail of this world he almost forgot, mages and Weapon's Master's weren't too keen with each other.

This was simply because of the fact that Mages always looked down on the Weapon Users since the beginning of time, always ridiculing them and belittling them, unfortunately he doesnt remember much of anything else, after the system suppressed his memories of the Game World he couldnt remember much of anything, only a few locations and items he has read their wiki about.

'So the mages tried to conquer the world, weird how come this person knows of it anyways, and he even published it in a book, maybe he has more balls than i thought.' Grinning like a child who found a candy he couldnt help but read further, weirdly enough when he tried to flip the page he felt an intense pressure hit his body and he collapsed falling unconscious instantly.

______________

The Crickets started singing and the owls began the hunt, the trees ever so silent as the wind had been long gone, light bugs could be seen flying illuminating throughout the dark and eerie forest.

*Pic plop*

Slowly the moon has been hidden behind a curtain of clouds, shrieking and ready to let loose the lighting inside of them, thunder echoed through the forest scaring its residents into hiding, light rain droplets fell and dampened the forest, a shadowy figure could be seen running and avoiding the trees at a breakneck speed, leaving behind swaying trees and leaves.

Behind said shadowy figure was a huge figure coated in more than revealing clothing, with only some leaves protecting the people from his junior the huge figure was chasing after the smaller one, bashing against any nearby tree unfortunate enough to be in its path and getting rid of their mere existence.

"Huff, huff" The small figure was getting tired from all the running, they have been chased for hours on end, they were starting to panic and couldnt help looking back at the horned and heavy looking Monster, the small figure let out a sigh and begun their last plan.

They turned around and with that motion ending up on the spotlight right where the moonlight reached their face, half of it hidden in the shade of the moonlight, the other moonlit showed a face of a roughed up man around the age of 25, he held onto a sword with his right hand and his left hand hidden in his cloak.

"Come on big guy, you know what they say, revenge is meaningless, it never brings back lost ones, at least not yours HA !" He mocked the monster who stopped and listened to his ramble, weirdly enough the last part made the giant freeze for a moment before his eyes became bloodshot and his teeth clattered.

"You dare mock me, you puny human, you think just because you tricked us, stole and killed our family members, we will simply forgive you and your filth of a kind." The giant inhaled some air before blasting a small little gale at the human male, who unfortunately for the giant, managed to dodge in time only to see a couple dozen trees pierced and collapsing.

*Creeeeak~. THUUUUUD*

The trees fell creating a huge shockwave, the human was caught unaware and stumbled a bit because of the mud, seeing no better chance the Giant Jumped at him full force wreaking havoc.

*Thuuuump*

Silence hung, weirdly enough the giant wasnt moving, as if shocked, looking at his empty hands he was wondering, where was the human, thats when it had got him, that this human wasnt a sword wielder, he was an assassin.

Slowly fine lines appeared on top of the Giant's skin, before every line has separated the body into multiple pieces, the last thoughts of the giant never to be heard, as tears fell from his eyes.

The moonlight revealing a few near invisible wires all coated around the trees and the giant, slowly the man revealed himself from behind a tree while brushing off a little bit of cold sweat from atop of his forehead.

"Damn, just a second late and this place would have marked my grave." He whistled while looking at the finely cut up Giant and clicked his left finger, then instantly every wire deployed has been sucked back into his wristband.

The man started looting the corpse of the Giant before he froze, a dagger tip at his neck and a shadow cast over his back.

"Who are you, to dare enter the Pirkos Estate and create trouble." A rough and old voice could be heard behind the man, feeling shocked and fear for the first time in his life, he shivered.

'How is this possible, i never met anyone fast or stealthy enough to go past my senses.' With wide eyes he let out a gulp and replied.

"I'm sorry to have bothered you, old sire, i was just passing by without knowledge of entering the estate." He replied but he felt an overwhelming amount of pressure and fear build up as the seconds passed without any answer.

"Alright, you may go, since you were honest i will let you live, if i see you here ever again, you will not escape without consequences." The moment the rough voice finished its presence disappeared.

"Fuck me, who was this old man, to intimidate me to such a level, where i couldnt even move or breathe." The man trembled for the first time in his life, as a professional Assassin, he felt like this would be a good time to take a break.
