While Rodin was getting trained by Johan, Roland was inside Lazar's Library whit baggy and half closed eyes.
"Roland, go and sleep, you have been reading up and deciphering these old tomes for at least 20 hours !" Lazar appeared behind him and slapped his shoulder.
"You wont be able to help your son this way anyways, we both know that ever since the mental breakdown he had made a complete 180 degree turn personality wise." Lazar stated like a matter of fact to the ever so saddened Roland.
"I know, but it doesn't mean i shouldn't try my best, he is my son after all." Roland looked at lazar with his half closed and baggy eyes, with a burning passion exuding from within.
"Alright, alright, hopefully Johan will be able to find clues to some actual Black Mages, meanwhile the library and hopefully my assistance will help you out with finding some more books and tomes mentioning curses." With that and a small sound of a bag popping, the old space dwarf was gone, leaving Roland in total silence.
"Sigh, Margaret, why did you have to leave so early." The old man couldn't help but sigh while the nostalgia and sleep deprivation where nagging him on for the dear embrace of sleep.

"Roland, your son seems to have improved psychologically ever since me and the Shadows managed to find the bracelet, but it doesn't seem to be very effective, me and Rodin had a small talk about the academy, weirdly, he said he doesn't remember and when he tried, he gets a headache, as if his mind has locked up the event which happened back in the Academy, what do you think, should we call a Priest or Mind Mage ?" Johan asked while sitting down next to an empty chair in front of a small and dwindling fireplace, ready to leave its ashes behind.
"I see, it is indeed a good thing, also it seems our shadow troops managed to repay the investment we had put into them, has the best recruit been found out yet, my son tends to be very perceptive so do make sure that he doesn't find out that we have people protecting him." Roland stated while looking through papers and documents, seemingly in a mesmerized state.
"Its a good thing indeed, they managed to find an artifact in less than 4 days, it was getting a bit worry some hearing the young master's screams after 3 continuous days, not even the Deep Sleep Spell by Lazar could stop his anguish." Johan felt guilty for taking such a long time
"Also, your son seems to have gained a liking towards "His" book." Johan stated with a glint of worry, towards which Roland glanced at Johan nodded.
"There is nothing to worry about Johan, one day he would have learned of his existence, doesn't matter if it sooner or later, but it would be worry some if "He" came, so make sure to set up a perimeter around the estate and stop anyone from entering, we don't want to risk "Him" taking a liking to Rodin, he is too young to leave and you know well how persistent he can be when he finds a talent, even more if its someone related to me." Roland glanced at Johan once again with a more stern and strict look, Johan simply nodded and sighed.
"His progress is fearsome, he doesn't complain nor make a tantrum to the way the training is made up, he seems to be enjoying the feeling whenever he gets hit also, but it seems that its more of a side effect of his body adapting to the magical and physical attacks, its harder and harder to affect him with the itching magic, we will have to get a better stick." Johan just shook his head at the incredulity he just spat at Roland who facepalmed and pinched the middle of his eyebrows.
"I told you, your training makes other a masochist !!" Roland hit the armrest of his comfy chair while shouting at Johan who was gone by the time he glanced at him, sighing Roland simply started focusing on the documents and papers in front of him.
"Reckless and stubborn, as always." He mumbled and fully immersed inside the research documents.

Johan could be seen walking down the dimly lit corridor giving a slight glance at the room of the young master, nodding his head towards a corner he disappeared within the shadows of the mansion.
