THAT Concerning Ride

{BACK AT THE CAR BEFORE ALICE HOPS IN THE GUY'S CAR}

"Then, can you come with me?" The guy said.

"...to where?" Alice asked.

"To a FUN place."

"..."

"B*tch, you said you will do anything!"

"Fine."

Then Alice enters the car and the car starts running.

They drove and drove and drove until they reached the destination.

"This…"

"The FUN place"

The destination was the love hotel. The love hotel was far away from the Liberate Hotel.

They got out of the car, went inside the hotel, paid for a room, and went to the room. After they went inside the room, the guy started touching Alice.

"Wait."

But Alice stopped the guy.

"Don't think about taking back what you said."

The guy said then continued touching her.

"I said wait!"

Alice stopped the guy again.

"You b*tch."

"Let me take a bath first."

"...fine."

Alice went to the bathroom after the guy released her.

ON THE BATHROOM

"I can do this." Breathes in, breathes out. "I just had to kill him."

Alice, talking to herself, trying to prepare to go out and kill the guy.

Alice and the boss are discussing something, as Alice hands a document and the boss reads it.

While in discussion, there's a knocking sound at the door.

"Come in." The boss said.

The person comes in.

"Excuse me for intrusion."

It was Ace.

"Oh, Ace, what is it?" The boss said.

"I have something to report."

"Go on."

"The News reported a dead body at some love hotel, the news said that the person was an executive director at some big company, and Shin became strange after he saw that. To some of my investigation, that dead person was a guest here yesterday. And Mr. Logan fought that person."

"And?"

"Shin or Mr. Logan might have something to do with it."

"Is that all?"

"Yes."

"Then you can go now."

"Then excuse me, boss and Ms. Alice."

Then Ace left the room.

"Heard that Alice?"

"Yes boss."

"Good thing the Imperium only came here for Shin."

Alice lowered her head. "Boss, thank you for saving me yesterday."

"Now, back to your report. Any lead from the black person?"

"No, sir. I already checked the list of our staff and none of them match. Even Haker can't search the person."

"Is that so… seems like that person is tough to find."

Alice is ready.

As she opened the door and went outside.

"!?"

It was shocking.

The guy that Alice was supposed to kill was already dead on the floor while being naked.

"What the…"

Alice immediately looked around, but no one was there.

"...who…would…kill him?"

Alice went closer to the guy's body. But when she's getting closer, there's a black fog behind her.

"!"

Alice noticed and immediately dodge as the fog rushed towards her.

After Alice dodge, she aimed the fog with her finger and shot something from it. But the shot was just going through the fog.

Alice's aim to the fog again.

"?!"

But the fog suddenly disappeared.

"Where?"

Alice looked left and right. While looking, the fog appeared behind her. In that fog, a hand holding a knife came out.

Alice quickly notices it and immediately steps away from the fog. But the hand in the fog throws the knife to her.

As the knife got closer to her, she raised her hand, then suddenly her fingernail extended and blocked the knife.

After blocking, her fingernail extends more, and she slices the fog. But likewise, it just went through the fog.

The fog turns into a human and rushes towards Alice.

The person was wearing a black robe and black mask.

The black person swings its dagger, but Alice dodge it and steps back. When Alice steps back, the black person throws its knife and hits Alice's shoulder.

"Kuk." Alice's voice.

Alice extends her fingernail more and slices the fog person. But her fingernail just went through the person's body, just like a fog.

"Tsk." Alice's voice.

*BANG!*

Suddenly, the door bursts open and someone enters the room with a sword.

"Boss?!" Alice said.

It was the boss.

Boss rushed towards the black person and unsheathe his sword then sliced the black person. But likewise, the sword went through the black person's body like a fog.

The black person steps back to the other side of the bed and turns back to fog, then vanishes.

"Are you fine?" Boss said to Alice.

"Just my shoulder was wounded."

Boss sheathed his sword and Alice's fingernail went back to normal.

"What happened?" Boss asked.

"Boss… this…"

"That's enough. Explain it to me later when we get back."

"...boss, how did you know I was here?"

"Alice, I know your personality. When I saw you on the CCTV, I followed you here."

"Sorry boss. I'm not going to do it again."

"Do you know who that black person is?"

"I do not, boss. The black person just killed this guy on the ground."

"Is that so…"

"Boss, what will we do, to this dead body?"

"Just leave it there."

"But boss, what about the receptionist?"

"I already killed him."

"But before we leave, clean the evidence."

After seeing the news, I rushed to the kitchen and asked Mr. Logan. But he said he's not the one who does it.

So… after some long thought. I came to the conclusion that the waitress, Jessica, was the murderer. So I'm going to wait here in the kitchen and try to ask her.

"I'm heading back outside now." Mr. Logan said.

"Me too, I'm going to cook now." Elin said.

"Sure guys."

Mr. Logan went outside the dining area while Elin went to her cook station.

Meanwhile me, I just stand there watching Elin.

"Um… Shin, are you not leaving yet?" Elin asked me.

"Not yet. I'm waiting for someone."

"What about your work?"

"It's my day off."

She starts doing her job.

I saw her work and saw what the result was. The aroma of the food and the looks of it was amazing. To think she's the same age as me, and she can do that, really amazes me.

"Wanna taste?"

"Yea. Here."

Elin takes a spoon and takes some left over.

"Aahh."

Then she fed me.

"How is it?"

"Delicious."

To think that I can eat luxury food in my whole life.

"Then I have to bring this there."

Elin brought the dish to the table, where the waiters can get and serve it to the guest table.

Jessica enters.

I went to Jessica.

"Jessica."

"Yes?"

"I have something to ask you."

"Yes, what is it?"

"Did you kill the guy yesterday?"

"Pardon?"

"Hey, Shin! You're accusing again. Not only my dad, even her?" Elin said.

"I'm just asking her."

"Even so."

"The guy that touched you yesterday was already." I said to her.

"Yes."

Jessica starts shaking.
