Chapter 26

"STRENGTH IS SOMETHING USED TO TAKE ON CHALLENGES. STRENGTH IS SOMETHING USED TO RISE TO THE TOP. THE OLD KING USED WHAT LITTLE STRENGTH HE HAD TO OPPRESS YOU! I WANT TO RISE TO THE TOP. BUT STRENGTH IS ALSO USED TO PROTECT. I WANT STRENGTH TO DO ALL 3 BUT I NEED HELP. I NEED YOU. THE OLD KING IS HERE TODAY TO APOLOGIZE FOR TREATING HIS PEOPLE LIKE TOYS. TODAY HE REPENTS FOR HIS CRIMES. TODAY IS ALSO WHEN A NEW KING WILL RISE. I KANE VOW TO USE MY POWER TO NOT ONLY ACHIEVE MY GOALS BUT TO PROTECT YOU! YOU ARE MY PEOPLE NOW AND TOGETHER WE WILL CREATE THE SPARK THAT WILL TURN INTO THE FIRE THAT SPREADS ALL AROUND THE WORLD. TOGETHER WE WILL PROSPER AND GROW. I HOPE I CAN COUNT ON YOU!"

Kane addressed his people with a strong and confidant tone. He stood tall and proud. His smile had a charm that would make any maiden fall into a trance. He looked valiant and the people of the Iron Rose Kingdom clapped and cheered for their new ruler.

"YOU SEE IN FRONT OF YOU THE MAN WHO CARED MORE ABOUT STUFFING HIS FACE THAN MANAGING HIS KINGDOM. TODAY I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT HAPPENS TO ANYONE WHO GOES AGAINST US!" Kane beckoned for Dallan who was decked out in Crimson Plate armor to come up to the podium. He had a huge ax with him.

"YOU HAVE A CHOICE. YOU CAN HAVE HIM BE EXECUTED HERE OR PAY HIM BACK BY CUTTING HIS LIBS OFF ONE BY ONE AND BLEEDING HIM DRY. AFTER ALL, HE BLED YOU ALL DRY."

The citizens looked at the scene with mixed expressions. Most were roaring for Kane to torture the man while some looked a bit uncomfortable. Kane knew this would happen but it would be good to get the citizens to get used to it. He did not need to do much as most of the citizens had experienced this due to the king killing people pretty normally.

"Let him suffer," said Kane with killing intent oozing off him. Dallin nodded and started to cut off the fingers before moving to the whole hand. The king made screams that sounded like a pig.

"WHILE THIS PIG REPENTS LET ME SAY A FEW LAST THINGS TO ALL OF YOU. I HAVE MANY PLANS FOR THE FUTURE AND IT WILL TAKE MANY PEOPLE TO WORK TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE IT. I WILL SET UP A RECRUITMENT OFFICE FOR THE MILTARY FOR ALL BRAVE SOULS WHO WISH TO JOIN. THEY WILL BE PAID AND TRAINED WELL. I WILL ALSO RECRUIT ANYONE WHO WISHES TO HELP MAKE THIS KINGDOM BETTER. WHETHER YOU ARE A CARPENTER OR A SMITH YOU CAN STILL HELP THE KINGDOM PROSPER. TONIGHT WE WILL ALSO HAVE A BANQUET FOR EVERYONE IN THE KINGDOM TO DRINK AND FEAST! THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR TIME AND GLORY TO THE IRON ROSE KINGDOM AND THE UNITED DEUS BELI EMPIRE! WE WILL BRING THE WORLD TOGETHER AND MAKE IT ONE. MAY IT BE ETERNAL!"

The citizens cheered and swore their allegiance. They were clearly thrilled and looked into the future, their future. Kane gave his last words while officially naming his empire. He felt like Deus Beli is fitting as it means God of War in Latin and he was brought here thanks to a war god. He will make sure all his future citizens know the meaning. The united part was because he planned on uniting all the world's nations under one flag. His flag.

All of this will have to wait though. Kane needed a nap. It had been very tiring to give that speech and he needed to prepare for the party in the night. He got in his carriage and headed back to his castle.

"Thanks, BOT," said Kane. He had just woken up and received these rewards. What a great way to wake up. The emblem creation was the most interesting. He could create the design for his empire and this would be put on banners, gear, and many other things. It would be the thing that makes people worship him or fear him. Either way works. But Kane did not know what to make it. This would be harder than naming the empire. It had to show his empire in a simple yet extravagant way which kind of contradicts itself but whatever.

"What should I make it?" Kane pondered for a bit before giving up and deciding to go to the party first. He would come up with it tomorrow.
