Chapter 71

Kane finally arrived at the mountain. It really was the best place to set up a camp. It was high and could look over many miles. The surrounding forest could also make it harder for larger parties to attack it.

One of the orcs who had been here before and told Urg and Kane about it said that there was only one path to the cave and overlook. You had to around to the back of the mounting and a mix of another cave and other paths would lead to the main area.

The path was a bit narrow at times but it was still fine. It would be very easy to defend if needed as well.

When the group entered Kane was amazed at how wide the cave was. The overlook was one thing but having a large natural cave that could fit a town was another. This mountain was an amazing find. Kane could make a very strong fort here.

He sent some troops to scout the area and one scout even found a separate cave that was more proper as it apparently went all over the mountain.

What was a really pleasant surprise was that it was actually a natural mine. Kane would defiantly set it up properly after the war. It was very valuable.

Kane had decided that due to not having much time he would spend shop points to buy a small village blueprint. It would basically summon a small village with not much to it but the troops could add to it later and improve it.

Kane bought the cheapest one as the group had enough to improve even the worst village. It was 5,000 points so it made Kane's heart ache.

Kane now only had 12,000 points left.

A rundown bunch of buildings appeared in the area. Kane had already cleared the area up before summoning the village so there were no messes or stalagmites or any loose stone that could damage. The buildings. Now he just needs the troops to build defenses and improve and expand the buildings.

Urg took out about a bunch of food from his inventory for some orcs to store. He had made sure to pack rations for the camp so that they would not need to hunt or gather food right away and could focus on building.

About a day in the place started looking much better and Kane even decided to give the camp a name. He would call it the Iron Peak camp. Hopefully one day it would turn into a strong military fortress but for not it will do.

Kane was talking with Urg and planning to leave soon and head back to the city when he received some very shocking notifications from the system.
