"I am so happy you're ok!" The Mayor ran towards the princess and wrapped his arms around her. Tears glistened in both of their eyes.
"I thought we were going to die" said the Princess as she broke free from the embrace. It was Lias turn as she hugged her husband. Everyone seemed relieved especially General Bushivo who was watching over the group.
Turning to Kane who was standing next to him Bushivo said "today has been chaotic but I am forever in your debt for all you did to calm the storm. This war is just getting started and we need to get ready for everything thats going to be thrown at us. This battle was just the beginning."
"What is your next move?" asked Kane.
"I need to head back to the king and report to him everything that's happened as well and get the princess back to safety. Kanto will stay here and defend the town with his men. What is your plan? I hope you can stand with us."
"It seems we're lucky that our two groups met. I must warn my kingdom and have it prepare for war. I hope our two nations may rally together to deal with this issue."
"I agree and I insist once you visit your kingdom please come to the White Sparrow Kingdom. We must plan our next move. I wish to officially make an alliance."
"Glad to hear it Sir Bushivo. I will bring word to you and we shall see what we should do next. I wish you safe travels my friend."
"You as well" said General Bushivo.
Kane got on a horse as did Galter and Othes. Before taking off into the forrest to plan his next move he looked back at the town. He locked eyes with the princess who even though she was still sad and frightened she smiled and seemed happy to see Kane. Even if it was only through the eye socket of his helmet. It would defiantly not be their last encounter. Kane looked forward and started to ride. He had a lot to do and very little time to do it.
