Gabriel Martin has hope. Three of the Alphas on the council have found mates in the past few years. Returning to New York from Atlanta, he comes across a human who has been raped in an alleyway. Both parties came out the elevator smiling. “I gather congratulations are in order.” Armand poured Gabriel a brandy. He nodded his head at Kane. “Brandy or sherry?”


“Sherry please, Alpha. Thank you for coming and bringing Sean and the others. I have lots of questions.” Armand handed Kane the sherry and Kane took a sip.


“Let’s go up to your suite and talk. There’s a table there as I recall. Agnes could bring us dessert up there.” Sean led the way.


“Okay…I’m still not used to having someone wait on me,” Kane protested.


“Get used to it. An Alpha Mate is a target for rogue wolves. Gabriel will assign one of his Betas to you as a guard and Agnes will fuss over you like all the other housekeepers fuss over us.” Ian patted Kane’s back and smiled. “Prepare to be spoiled.”


“If Marceau and Gaspard are Gabriel’s Betas, poor Marceau is probably going to have charge of me. As it is now, he’s stuck with me all the time.” Kane sighed.
