Chapter 51

Kane practically jumped up and down. “This is wonderful. I’ve only seen this from Indiana on the news. The ball is beautiful.”

When the ball hit the ground Gabriel grabbed Kane into his arms and gave him a scorching kiss. “Happy New Year, baby. I need to have a word with Alexei before he says something to Armand about the caviar.”

“Go right ahead. I’ll go stand with Ian, Sean, and Colin to watch the crowds below. It’s fascinating.” Kane went with his friends.

Gabriel took Davidoff aside. “The Marriott isn’t known for its gourmet food in a town like New York where there is so much fine dining. We were here so the Mates could see the ball drop out of the cold weather. This suite had the necessary view and we couldn’t bring in our own food.”

“Ah I see…Armand knows his caviar. I should have known there were mitigating circumstances. Of course the Mates must be indulged. I am one hundred and forty-two and I’m still looking,” Davidoff lamented.
