Gabriel crushed Kane to his chest. “It doesn’t make a lick of difference to me and I’m the only one you have to worry about. Here are Mama and Daddy.”


“I could just eat you up.” Rose pinched his cheeks. It hurt a little but Kane knew enough to keep his mouth shut.


“Mama, I’m sorry we don’t have more time to spend with you and Daddy this trip. We will be back for the Equinox. Kane won’t be working and we can spend the week together. Kane is anxious to know you and the pack.” Gabriel draped his arm around Kane’s back.


“I know, son. An Alpha’s time is never his own. We’ll look forward to seeing you in the spring.” Guy gave both of them a hug.


“Now, it’s time to go upstairs and get some sleep. Let’s say our goodnights. I think Armand is ready to go to bed.”
