Alpha Marc Thierry was used to the North Woods of Minnesota, so his elevation to third on the loup garou council necessitated a move to a Gramacy section of New York City. Since a real estate conglomerate renovated the entire building and turned it into condos, Marc was able to buy the two story penthouse and the two apartments beneath him. Marc lived in the penthouse with just his factotum and housekeeper, Giles and Michelle, for company.


The second apartment housed his Betas, Philipe Lassale and Anton Allard, and the third apartment he kept ready for visiting Alphas from his pack. This saved them from paying outrageous New York City hotel rates. He was the presiding Alpha for many loup garou packs because his area was a natural habitat for both the loup garou and the wild population of American gray wolves.
