Chapter 16

“Did Rémy and Armand take care of your mobster problem?” Somehow instinctively knowing it had to be both of them.

“Something like that, yeah.” Ian smiled. “Rémy wanted both me and the paint job. He hired three additional painters out of his own pocket to help me finish the job. I did all the custom work and the others did the straight painting.” Ian spooned soup into his mouth.

“I can see that. I’ve examined your texture board.” Colin took a bite of his sandwich.

“After four weeks were up, Rémy and I were in love. We got married here in the house. I’ve never been this happy in my life.”
