Chapter 17

“That’s twelve or thirteen hours per day.”

Percy nodded at Diego. “That’s why I only have to go in four days a week. After all, my schedule is packed anywhere between forty-eight to fifty-two hours every single week. Recording one episode for a TV show isn’t an easy task. Many things occur behind the scenes that the viewers aren’t aware of.”

“For the next two weeks, we will have to work around our schedules, but I can accompany you fully in the third week,” Rohan said.

“In the third week?” Diego inquired. “That doesn’t make sense. Don’t you have to be present for your shifts at the coffee shop until around two or three in the afternoon? Then you also have to work some nights at the bar. No matter how you slice them, the schedules don’t match completely.”

“I’m thinking of quitting my jobs at the coffee shop andthe bar,” Rohan replied. “I was pondering it last night and earlier this morning.”

“About being jobless?” Diego asked.
