Chapter 15

“I did, because it was memorable, like right now. I barely remember what I did at work this morning, or over the past weeks in general. I know it has been loud and hot and I wanted to get out of there, but that’s about it. It’s these moments I treasure, the ones I never want to leave.”

Aiden grinned mischievously. “Do you want to make it more memorable?” he asked, brushing his thumb along the curve of Glen’s hip.

The water was growing tepid, which meant there was less restriction on Glen’s reaction to Aiden’s intimate touch. He returned his boyfriend’s smile. “Let’s make it a night to remember.” 3

The dreaded morning came. Aiden made a big show of not wanting to get out of bed. He stretched his limbs out in a gesture of waking, then flopped back into the mattress, the sheets indenting around him and accepting him as one of their own. Glen tried to be as lighthearted as possible, tugging playfully on Aiden’s ankles and threatening to drag him to the theatre if he had to.
