Chapter 17

“I’ll hop out and run to the theatre while you park, okay?” he said to Aiden.

“Okay. I don’t know who’s there already, so you may need to wait until I get there to unlock the door anyway.”

Their car wound up at the end of a long line of cars waiting for the light on the block where they usually parked. Glen jumped out with his shoulder bag and rushed to the theatre. Fortunately, as he was approaching the door someone shouldered it open, a cigarette in his mouth as he sparked his lighter. Glen nearly knocked him over, but the guy didn’t seem to mind much. Besides, the bathroom was Glen’s first priority.
