“We’re going to need a demo of the goods,” Taya said, after schmoozing and shooting the breeze with the guy for nearly an hour. She’d downed several drinks. Her drunk acting was damn good. If she didn’t know Taya had taken the blunter, Barb would have sworn Taya was several sheets to the wind. “Not buying it sight unseen. And no damn bait and switch crap either. One time I bought twenty cases of fucking rocks. Made that bastard pay when I caught up to him.” Taya made a gun gesture with her hand, pointed a finger, and made a “pew” sound.
