“Mmm, we’re going to generate plenty of heat,” Taya said. “But we will use up the air faster.”

“Worth it,” Barb whispered. Might well be the last time. They could die here, freezing, suffocating, or blown to bits when they emerged. They could only try to make the best of the time they had left.

If they lived, then they could talk about what they did next.

Barb took it slow, and Taya followed her lead, kissing and stroking each other, petting and caressing, like they were a couple of cats. If it wasn’t for the growing tug of desire in her belly, Barb could have fallen back to sleep under the gentle touches. But in the end, she could put it off no longer. Nor could Taya, legs wide under Barb, pressing and rubbing against her.

“Need you,” Taya sighed. “Please, touch me.”
