Chapter 25

“Plan ahead much?” Charlie asked, chuckling.

“Apparently not.” Jace took the vacant seat next to Merianne’s after she’d reclaimed hers. “At least I finally made it here.” He glanced around as if looking for someone.

“He’ll get here,” Merianne whispered to Jace.

“Who’ll get here?” Ricky asked, obviously overhearing her.

Jace shrugged. “A friend.” He nonchalantly took a long pull on his beer.

“Ah, there you are.” A hand landed on Jace’s shoulder. When he turned and looked up, Liam planted a lingering kiss on his lips. “Sorry I’m late but I had trouble finding a parking place.” He left his hand on Jace’s shoulder possessively while looking around. “So…Introduce me?”

The look on Ricky’s face is priceless. Jace did his best not to laugh. He also tried not to move too much since unsurprisingly his cock had responded to the kiss as much as his emotions had. Damn, he did that like he meant it. Maybe he should take up acting.
