A Vanmer ambulance arrived at 487 Fiddle Way approximately eight minutes after Beth’s arrival. Brisken Larimer and his pal, Hart Blessing, were the paramedics on duty. Following Officer Jim Tanner’s approval, Brisken and Hart took the body away on a mobile gurney. The three roommates sobbed and clung together.
A hysterical Mrs. Oliver Cliffton arrived at the rented house just as her daughter’s body was being toted to the sidewalk. Vivian Cliffton was a small woman with quite the overbite. She practically climbed on top of her daughter as CeeAnne was being carted away. The woman screamed at the top of her voice, “My baby! What have you done, baby? How could you have done this to yourself?”
I clicked a number of photographs of Vivian and her bagged daughter on the gurney. None of the pictures would end up in the Independentbecause of their graphic nature, but the photojournalist in me couldn’t stop from using my digital camera, creating a visual story of the CeeAnne event.
