There was something about the way the wind felt like a man’s tongue on my chest, licking at my nipples and navel with the finest strokes. I admit that I was turned on by Mother Nature and her pleasurable foreplay. It was a dangerous thing to go bare-chested in a pasture at night for fear that bugs would eat my naked skin alive. That wasn’t the case, though. Instead, there wasn’t a gnat, mosquito, or fly in the vicinity, which told me that there were far too many bats on the property, feasting on the troublesome insects.
The walk was relaxing and allowed me to clear my mind for a few minutes. A break was needed from the monotony of Evan Sting’s murder, Dash’s vanishing, Cissy’s trouble with Renner, and my simple crush on Tal, who really didn’t know that I existed. Taking advantage of the moment alone, sucking in the night like a vampire, I relished the walk. There in the pasture, I found layers of delight with the action, and enjoyed my alone time to the fullest.
