Flynn drove her to the library every Saturday after that, even after she became well enough to get to the bus stop on her own. Their group became caught in an avalanche where they lost Sayas’s horse, went on a couple side quests involving helping local villages along their path in exchange for information about the fortress, and Jeremy’s Divine Knight was accidentally mistaken for the reincarnation of a priest-king so the rest of the group had to convince his “followers” that he had duties elsewhere. They sadly let him go, but were a bit more pleased when the rest of the party left, since Cethin had revealed himself as a Shifter when he became frustrated with one villager’s blind devotion and clawed him on the side of the face. Katie’s sorceress healed the damage, but it wasn’t just the villagers who were taken aback by the assault.
