I knew a few more things about Erich’s new life because of his constant communication with me via texts. He lived in SoHo with Ken Eclipse, the two shared Ken's condo, and Ken was still modeling. Erich claimed he was working at a queer bar called The Thunderhead. I also knew that he had a string of new experiences under his belt, and friends who had partied with him. I was glad that he was safe in the city, free of drugs and hustling, which a number of young men fell into and became victims of, and that he seemed happy in life, pleased with his new city adventures and his escalating relationship with Ken Eclipse.
