Chapter 22

Barry rubbed his eyes and felt remarkably refreshed.

Looking around, he saw that the TV had been switched off and the fire had burned down to ash. “The game over?”

Jimmy grinned. “Nope. It’s just about to start.”

“Bring it on, stud.” Looking over at Jake, Barry added, “Studs.”

Jake moved Barry’s legs from his lap, stood, and stretched. Barry looked hungrily at the red flannel shirt that he would very soon be peeling away. But he forced himself to put his lustful thoughts aside because he had a couple of duties to attend to in the kitchen first.

“You’re going the wrong way,” Jimmy said when Barry turned toward the kitchen instead of their bedroom.

“Just need to put those containers of chili in the freezer and check the door is locked.”

To Barry’s surprise, the men followed him into the kitchen.

“You don’t get away from us that easily,” Jake growled.
