Chapter 26

The alarm went off way too early Monday morning. It always went off too early! Previously Barry had arisen at eight so he could be at work by nine. Now he had to get up at six so the cowboys could eat at seven.

“No,” a scratchy, sleep-filled voice said, its owner’s muscled arm preventing Barry from getting out of the bed.

“Jimmy, I need to get up,” Barry whispered, hoping not to disturb Jake any more than he already had.

“It’s my birthday.”

“I know,” And despite his morning breath, Barry gave Jimmy a kiss. “Happy birthday. Now you need to let me go because I have to start breakfast.”

“Can I have a blowjob first?”

Barry hesitated, knowing he needed to start frying bacon, making coffee, and to check on the porridge that he’d put in the slow cooker the previous night.

“It’s my birthday,” Jimmy whined.
