Chapter 26

Again, Kye provides a laugh. The ice causes his lips to rise at their corners because it’s too cold. This smile seems strong, filled with confidence, and he finds enjoyment in the company of Brand, pleased with his attention and likeness.

The boxer doesn’t stop here, though. He slips his right index finger into the man’s mouth and allows Kye’s lips to fall around it, providing it with just the littlest suck.

“Jesus,” Marlin witnesses this and exclaims. “I’m through with you two. You guys are falling for each other and I’m…not a big fan.” He backs away from the sofa and finds the kitchen again, deciding to wash a sink filled with dirty dishes.

Tucker, like the good husband and friend that he is, minds his own business and hides his head in Kye’s mystery.

Brand now whispers down into Kye’s left ear, brushing his tongue along the man’s earlobe, “Maybe I am falling for you.”
