Although Mr. Friday denies having an affair with Timothy Riley, I don’t believe him. Prior to my five-year involvement with Mr. Friday, I’m sure they were great lovers at one time. Mr. Friday has a very difficult time turning away good looks from his bedroom, among other conventional places to have sex. I imagine Timothy’s tasty skin was no exception. My lover’s list of men and boys whom he has successfully bedded is quite long. I am sure Timothy’s name appears on it.


I admit, I am not jealous of Mr. Friday’s current or past activities with other men, particularly with Timothy Riley. Men are not a threat to me. What’s accomplished in his life is already accomplished. There is no chance of returning in time to embrace history and change it. The bottom line is simple: if Timothy was once Mr. Friday’s lover, I care not to know.
