Author Dane Bentley is looking for an assistant to help with his work. When he hires Shane Allister, Bentley falls head over heels in lust for the younger man. His iPod included The NutBoys, an underground band he was madly in love with. The trio sang about sex between guys, drugs, and alcohol; in truth, I rather enjoyed them. He also listened to Lady Gaga, Barefoot Jungle, Undermen, and other racy, queer bands or performers.


His reading included prize-winning pieces: Edmund White novels, Michael Cunningham, and Armistead Maupin. He was a serious reader, enjoying heavy hardbacks with immaculate dustcovers. When he finished reading a novel, it looked brand new, untouched, undamaged. 


He watched a lot of shows on the History Channel, mostly pieces on the Holocaust or Pearl Harbor. He said he was infatuated with WWII and couldn’t get enough knowledge about the war. He enjoyed reading about the concentration camps and destroying the Jews.
