“Really?” I asked. “What’s his seniority? I don’t recognize him.”
“How long ago were you based in B.A.? May I continue?”
“Yeah, yeah.”
“But it doesn’t seem like he knows Josh, and that’s not a very big base. He must have come from somewhere else.”
“Josh transferred from London,” I told her. “That’s the only thing I know about him.”
“Don’t fret,” Jason admonished, “You’ll have Josh all to yourself for fifteen hours. You can get the scoop for us.”
“I better get more than scoop.”
“You better not get more than scoop, not on the airplane!” Jason exclaimed.
“Oh, right,” Bianca chimed in, “like you’ve never done that before.”
Jason’s face contorted in horror. “Shhhhhhhh!” he hissed. “Don’t be telling people about that.”
