Chapter 57

“You’re a long way from home,” I observed, referring to the fact that he never sets foot out of the coach cabin.

“Well, this is a social call,” he explained, helping himself to a small dish of leftover cocktail nuts. I always have a little Snack Station set up on my galley counter for flight attendants to come up and sample from during the boring middle of the night, using leftovers from the First Class service.

“Always nice to see a new face,” said Josh hospitably. Although I am friendly with Brandon, I disagreed, as I preferred to spend every possible minute alone with Josh, the better for him to fall under my spell.
