Katie continued. “They will have had seven weeks to rehearse and everything, and they seem to be forging ahead. Benji says things are going great and they’ll be ready.”

“Wow, cool. So it sounds like you haven’t had much of a chance to talk to Chris about everything…” I pointed out.

“He’s just been so busy, and he is starting to stress out a little bit. He comes over here still a couple mornings a week, but it’s a quick cup of coffee and a million questions about the costumes, and then he’s gone.”

“Sounds like he’s got a lot going on. Hope he’s all right.”

“He is. He’s busy and stressed, but his energy is almost completely positive; he’s just really excited to see this coming together, I think. Actually, I think he’s even secretly glad that Jeff is sticking around. It’s like his chance to show him it was worth all the time and energy, you know?”

“Well, you guys are so excited about it, and he’s got such a good team behind him, I bet it was worth it. Good for him!”
