Chapter 7

“Well, uh, guess I better go,” Dennis finally said.

Sam turned so his back was to Zack, but was facing Dennis. “You sure you’ll be all right, man? We could hang for a bit if you want.”

Zack didn’t want. The view of Sam’s firm ass and thick bare thighs in those cut offs had him boning up. And he would disconnect the doorbell, take the phone off the hook, anything so they wouldn’t be interrupted yet again.

“Naw, Momma wanted me to get something from the store. I’m already running late.”

“Okay, we’ll see you around.” Zack moved to the door to let Dennis out, then realized they were in Sam’s house.

Sam shot him an amused look. Dennis didn’t seem to notice.

“What about us three having a guy’s night out on the weekend? Now we’re all single again?” Sam asked.

“Yeah?” Dennis seemed to brighten at the idea.

“Sure, man,” Zack said, wishing Dennis would just go.

“Okay, so…guess I’ll see you Friday, then,” Dennis said.
