Tribulation

THE MONTH OF JUNE came and went, and we settled down to life in Buckhead, if life can be truly settled when one is surrounded by workmen and construction noises ten hours a day, six days a week. Charles was back in his office full time, and I’d pretty much abandoned writing for the duration, since I was monitoring the addition to the house, the expansion of the garage, the construction of the pool, the building of the wall, and the various upgrades to the house.
