Chapter 86

The gang had by now seen the new master suite and were suitably impressed. We’d purposely left the nursery locked, and when asked about that room, we got kind of vague and said it was currently being used for storage. In point of fact, that was a half truth, since we did have a few things stored in the nursery on a temporary basis. The town house had been sold to Richard and Bruce with most of its furnishings included. I’d kept a few items that Robert and I had selected together and/or cherished, and had been content to let the rest go with the property. The items I’d kept were temporarily stored in the nursery awaiting final placement elsewhere in the house.
