Chapter 88

From the airport in Boston, we took a limo to the Taj, where a small suite had been reserved for the two of us and Gran, as well as a separate room for Grace so that she’d have more privacy. We had a couple of hours to settle in and freshen up before we took another limo to Mama Leone’s. The Leone family had never met Gran, although they’d heard a great deal about her from Robert and Charles in years past and, of course, the two of them had told Gran about how good the Leones had been to them. When we arrived at the restaurant, Charles introduced Gran to Tony and suggested that his parents might like to meet her at some point during the evening. Tony promised to send them around to our table after a while.
