“Do you think you could reenact those meetings in front of a camera?”

“Excuse me?”

“We’re thinking of putting together a little training film on interdepartmental cooperation, starring your group.”

Chief Bridges read my expression and said, “You don’t look too happy at that thought, George.”

“Chief, a lot of people around here, myself included, think I get entirely too much publicity as it is. A training film featuring myself and my lieutenants at work will only make it worse.”

“Sometimes we have to make sacrifices for the good of the department, George,” the chief said.

“Why me?”
