“I left that in Joe’s hands,” Mickey said.
“The Realtor isn’t coming,” Joe said.
“Why?”
“Because I’m going to buy the place.”
“You’ve got a house,” Mickey said. “In fact, it’s somewhat larger than this one.”
“That’s true, but I see this condo as an investment. Remember the old saying? ‘Location, location, location’. In other words, you chose well, my friend. I’ll find someone who wants to rent it on a long-term lease, then I’ll sit back and wait for it to appreciate.”
“That works for me,” Mickey said. “How will we settle on a price? I haven’t a clue as to what it’s worth.”
“I’ve gotten three appraisals,” Joe said. “We can talk about them over lunch.”
“Sounds good,” Mickey said.
They completed the walk-through and went into the garage. “Your car has been serviced and it’s ready to go,” Joe said.
“What’s all that stuff in the cargo area?” Chris said, looking at Mickey’s SUV.
