“Latest and greatest.” I gave him the engine’s stats and added, “Are you a fan of muscle cars?”


“Yeah, but I sort of put that interest on hold when I started a family.”


“It can be a time-consuming and expensive hobby, but I can deduct a great deal of my car expenses as a legitimate business expense.”


“How often have you had to outrun somebody?”


“Twice,” I said, “which more than makes the expense worth it.”
